This is a Christmas gift for my granddaughter so I hope she and her mom like using these in her hair. Upon a quick look/feel, the cord seems harder than I thought it would be. I was thinking it was a softer/rubbery cord like the old telephoen cords. I hope it stands up to constant use in her very long hair.
